Inkcipher — Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 12, 2026
Inkcipher is a daily cryptogram puzzle app by Quizora Games. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. Short version: we don't ask for your identity, we don't create accounts, and your progress stays on your device.
Data we do NOT collect
Inkcipher has no user accounts and no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or contacts. Your solved puzzles, stars, streak, hint balance and game history are stored locally on your device only, and are deleted when you uninstall the app. We operate no server and receive no data about you.
Advertising
Inkcipher is free and funded by ads served by Google AdMob: full-screen ads shown between puzzles, and optional rewarded videos you can choose to watch in exchange for extra hints. No ad ever interrupts a puzzle in progress. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device data such as advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID), IP address, coarse location derived from IP, and app interaction data. This collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob's data practices.
Where required (e.g. the European Economic Area), you will be asked for consent through Google's certified consent form before any personalized ad is served. On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt lets you refuse tracking; the app works fully either way — refusing only makes ads generic. You can revisit your ad privacy choices anytime from the app's settings.
Notifications
Daily reminders are optional, local notifications scheduled on your device. No server is involved and no push service receives your data. You can turn them off anytime in the app or in your device settings.
Network requests
Apart from ad serving, Inkcipher makes no network requests. The full puzzle library ships with the app, so the game works entirely offline.
Analytics and crash reporting
We do not embed any analytics or crash reporting SDK of our own. The only third-party code in the app is Google's advertising SDK, described above.
Children
Inkcipher is suitable for a general audience, but it is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from them. The puzzles are English-language quotes, which assumes confident reading.
Your choices
You can reset or delete your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings, withdraw ad consent from the app's settings, and remove all data the app holds by uninstalling it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date above.
